Leupold Price Increase Alert
Leupold’s “Unilateral Pricing Policy” is going into effect on March 1, 2009 and will change the way you buy optics from the legendary brand. In a nutshell, Leupold is putting dealers that sell below MSRP on a blacklist. Naturally, since On Point Firearms sells Leupold at dealer cost, we are in danger of losing our ability to offer the product line. This, of course, is a great disservice to loyal Leupold clients. Leupold optics will naturally lose ground to other makers: Burris, Nikon, Zeiss, etc– that will continue to offer comparable products at much lower and competitive prices– the way capitalism intended. Frankly, this is a huge step backwards for the company. The internet is not going away and companies that fail to embrace the evolution of business will perish.
So, if you’re fond of the Leupold brand and have been putting off a purchase, now is the time to pull the proverbial trigger. After March 1, 2009– all bets are off. The following is a list of skus that are currently in stock– available for immediate shipment:
