Today’s Special: Sig Sauer P229 Elite

Filed under: Misc. — Evan @ 11:58 am

This morning, a client brought in this mint condition Sig Sauer P229 Elite in .40S&W.  It’s technically used, but he never shot it.  He just switched out the grips to some Hogue rubber wraparound models because he intended to carry it.  So, you get the Hogues and the OEM set of wood Sig Sauer grips– plus two high capacity magazines, the SRT trigger, night sights, factory box, lock, all paperwork AND the Sig Sauer stickers.  Like I said, it’s MINT!  All this for $800 + shipping.  As you know, dealer cost is over $850 new.

I hope everyone is well.  God bless.

Today’s Special: Smith & Wesson M&P340

Filed under: Misc. — Evan @ 11:11 am

Today, we have another great weapon on trade-in.  It’s a Smith & Wesson model 340M&P.  This .357mag snubnose revolver is super light and features a tactical black finish and a Trijicon front night sight– perfect for quickly engaging targets in low light situations.  It’s never been fired by the client and is in perfect condition.  However, it doesn’t have its original box.  Dealer cost on a new one of these is $632.79.  Today’s special is only $585.  If you’re looking for a hideout piece, this may be the one for you!

This week, we received some nice trade-ins on AR15 style rifles.  One of the guns is a mint Walther P99 AS in .40S&W.  It’s from one of our local clients who has about 100-rounds down the pipe.  It comes LNIB with 2 12-round magazines, interchangeable back straps, lock, and box as pictured.  Dealer cost on these is $614.18.  However, you can own this today for only $482– a fraction of the cost.

Urgent Update - 2 Days Left: Election Countdown 2008

Filed under: Misc. — Evan @ 12:13 pm

As you may know, several months ago AK47 prices increased dramatically in response to increased demand.  This was a bellwether and some of us took notice and reacted accordingly.  In the past few weeks, the same has happened to AR15 style rifles.  The election, coupled with the current economic crisis, has peaked peoples interest in these weapons.  So, this morning, there were few rifles available at ANY of our distributors.

I planned to buy some ammo for myself, but by lunch time 64,000 rounds of XM193 5.56NATO had left RSR Group and Sports South, the only suppliers with stock remaining.  A tremendous vacuum has sucked the supply out of the distribution channel.

An industry-wide shortage of barrels is causing lengthy delays in production, according to sources at Bushmaster, Rock River Arms, and Alexander Arms.  Although lower receivers are plentiful, there are no barrels to shoot bullets out of.  Orders placed with Rock River Arms in May are expected to be filled in 30-60 days from NOW.  New orders have no ETA at all.  The situation is dire.  Thank God you have your black rifle already.  You may need it in the coming months.  If you don’t– there’s a healthy demand for it, and you’re sure to profit from the draught.

On behalf of my clients, I’ll be aggressively scouting the market for any available supply and will keep you posted.

In the meantime, we have an excellent solution for those seeking a viable battle rifle solution.  We have the following Sig Sauer 556 models in stock, ready to ship:
