Are You OnPoint?

A friend of mine recently turned me on Maxpedition’s Versi-packs.  They’re what I would call “Tactical Man Purses.”  The 1980s brought us the fanny pack.  The 1990s brought us the photographer’s vest.  Anyone caught wearing either of these in 2008 screams “concealed carry firearm.”  You know who you are.  The 80s called. They want the vest and fanny pack returned– immediately!

Maxpedition’s line of versatile little packs are a nice alternative to the aforementioned cliche from yesteryear.  They look like a New York City bike messenger bag–  something hip and cool that would look at home on any disaffected college student.  There’s room for your Blackberry, iPod, water bottle, heart pills, cigarettes, wallet, and oh yeah… a full-size pistol and extra magazines.  Now we’re talking.

While we’re on the subject of tactical bags, let’s talk about Maxpedition’s line of backpacks and “go bags.”  Load these up for a hike through the hills or a trip to the shooting range.  And when the going gets tough– the tough grab a Go Bag and get the heck outta Dodge.  They’re rugged and built to last a lifetime.  Why not pick up one of those while you’re at it?
