Review: Predator Custom Shop .338 Lapua Magnum Ultra Match

Filed under: Gun Tests — Evan @ 5:20 pm

Rican Havoc Productions and On Point Firearms bring you another exclusive look at the fine work from Predator Custom Shop in Knoxville, Tennessee. This episode focuses on one of the kings of long distance rifles: the .338 Lapua Magnum Ultra Match. Based on the massive Armalite AR-30, this rifle is capable of impressive accuracy and mind-blowing ballistics at ranges in excess of one thousand yards. That’s over half a mile! The might .338 Lapua Magnum was developed in the 80s as a sniper round, and it is capable of penetrating five layers of military kevlar at 1000 yards. Needless to say, the .338 Lapua has been turning cover into concealment for twenty years. Special thanks to Jim Ruiz at the Predator Custom Shop for his continued partnership in this project, and also to Amable and Akwaknot for their original musical scores.

  1. Great review gentlemen! Audio and Video were super. Viewer gets most salient information. Gave me the feeling that I was shooting the rifle. I am sure others will appreciate your honesty and not the normal sales pitch. Keep up the great work!
