Review: Predator Custom Shop DMR

Predator Custom Shop in Knoxville, Tennessee, produces fully customized firearms to meet end user needs. They are run by the new generation of gunsmiths– which is a huge relief to the industry since many masters of the trade are retiring, closing up shop, or passing. The fine craftsmen at Predator Custom Shop are continuing their legacy, and furthering it by fusing it with advanced, modernized techniques. Predator Custom specializes in AR15s, bolt-action rifles, and pistols, but they are extremely knowledgeable in the field and are willing to tackle any project for which they are equipped. They are unbelievably talented in firearms finishing, and they offer many different types of camouflage pattens to best suit the user’s environment.
The fine folks at Predator Custom Shop have partnered up with Rican Havoc Productions and On Point Firearms to present another videoblog review. They sent us three very different firearms; the Designated Marksman Rifle, the Predator .308 Scout, and the Predator Glock 35. While they were all fine specimens of Predator weaponry, the show-stopper was the DMR . Jim Ruiz of Predator recommends the 77gr Black Hills ammunition for optimal performance in this rifle. We had no problem keeping all of our rounds inside the “8” ring at 300 yards when firing from a warm barrel on a windy day. The cold bore capability of this rifle must be truly amazing! Predator Custom firearms are now available through On Point Firearms. Click Here for our selection of Predator Custom models

Is there much of a weight difference with the Predator custom glock and the original model? Great review!

Just a little of the lightweight polymer is removed in the Custom Glock 35 pistol. I don’t think one would be able to tell any weight difference, but it FEELS different b/c you can get a higher hold on it. It is a pistol that is easy to shoot FAST and still keep all rounds on target.

Another great review from the fellas at OnPoint and RHP. The musical addition was tight. Keep them coming!

If Predator Custom does it consider it done properly. Bob is the ONLY one who works on a 1911/BHP if I’m carrying it.
